Offered now is our OSD Exhaust Flange Repair Kit. A common issue with non RAVE Sea Doo models is exhaust bolt breakage. That's usually caused by bad rubber exhaust mounts and when that happens, a loose pipe most always will cause the bolts threads to wear and enlarge the bolt holes in the exhaust pipe flange. If you don't repair that, even with new rubber mounts the bolts will most likely loosen and fall out / break again.

The procedure for installing this repair is to drill out the exhaust pipe flange bolt holes (7/16 drill bit) to accept the included bronze bushings. Once the holes are drilled out and bushings installed, they restore the bolt holes without replacing the whole pipe.

This kit should fit most models that use 8mm bolts (not 2002 and newer 717 with 10mm bolts). If your Sea Doo has three 8mm hex bolts and one 8mm stud on the exhaust manifold this should work. Note most 587 have 4 studs instead of bolts and don't usually have flange issues but these parts will also work on a 587 pipe too.

Included in the kit...

  • Four (4) 8mm SS THICK Flat Washer (a must when reinstalling flange bolts)
  • Three (3) 8mm SS Hex Bolts
  • One (1) 8mm SS Hex Nut
  • Four (4) Bronze Flange Repair Bushings
  • One (1) Tube Loctite 242
  • One New Exhaust Gasket

NOTE - If you need a new 8mm exhaust stud, add one in the optional extras below.

NOTE - The OEM manual doesn't call for lock washers, but if you want some for added security, add those to the kit by selecting that in the optional extras.

NOTE - If your pipe flange is ok and you don't need the four bronze bushings, you can deduct those from the kit by selecting that in the optional extras.

TECH TIP...
If you're installing an impeller on a Sea Doo, don't follow the manual when it calls for red loctite on the threads... use anti-sieze instead. That way if you want to take it apart again you can. We've built hundreds of pumps now with anti-seize and it works great!
