Offered now is a new set of "Palm Rest" RED Grips that fit your hand better to take stress off on long rides. These are what comes on the 2017 TRIXX and will fit all 2014-2019 Spark Models as well as 1998-2019 Sea Doo PWCs that use the new style grip mounting system provided your throttle is a forward facing finger pull (NOT thumb throttle). Includes 277002014 RH and 277002015 LH Grips. Just remove your retaining fasteners and reuse with these. If you're installing on a pwc that has steel bars with insert and machine screw to retain, you should use Loctite 242 on the bolt. If you need that, you can add in the optional extras.

Note we've recently been made aware that some Sea Doo handlebars out there have the slots in them cut wrong. Some actually face down instead of up. The pic below shows one that's cut wrong. On that one, the grip retaining part will actually fall out of the bar!

In order for the palm part of these palm grips to face the right way, the slot in your bars has to be oriented so that if you grab the bare steel bar with your hand in the riding position, the cutout in the bar should be in line with your knuckle closest to the end of the bar.

If you aren't buying these for a Spark, you need to check your bars to make sure the slot is facing the right way BEFORE purchasing.

NOTE ALTHOUGH THESE FIT YOUR HAND BETTER WHEN RIDING IN A SEATED POSITION, FROM WHAT WE'VE FOUND THEY AREN'T AS SUITABLE AS PLAIN OLD ROUND GRIPS WHEN IT COMES TO A STANDING POSITION. IF YOU DO LOTS OF JUMPING WAVES AND RIDING STANDING THESE AREN'T RECOMMENDED.

TECH TIP...
If you're installing an impeller on a Sea Doo, don't follow the manual when it calls for red loctite on the threads... use anti-sieze instead. That way if you want to take it apart again you can. We've built hundreds of pumps now with anti-seize and it works great!
